Let's Play! (ages 8-10) with Rachael Murphy
Building on the Let's Play JR class these students will focus on enhancing their skills, learning lines, character development, and other fundamental aspects of basic theatre. They will, through play based learning, come to understand that putting on a show is a team effort. You might like this class if you’ve taken: Let’s Play! JR, “JR” JR Resident Company, or our HATCHling Summer Camp.
Rachael Murphy (BA, Theatre Arts Certificate) has been with the HAT Academy since our very first HATCH Summer Camp as a student Group Leader, and is now very happy to be the HAT Academy’s Education Director! When she isn’t answering emails, planning new programs, or teaching classes, you can sometimes find her onstage at the HAT (Alice - Alice in Wonderland, Celia -As You Like It, Past - A Christmas Carol) or backstage Stage Managing (Frozen JR, Seussical the Musical, She Loves Me) OR directing one of our JR/Teen Productions (15, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek JR).
Let's Play will run on Tuesday evenings from 4:00 to 5:00PM starting April 18th, 2023 and running for 8 consecutive weeks.
If necessary, a make-up class will be scheduled.
Registration is accepted on a "first come, first served" pending payment of Registration Fee.
Early Bird Registration Fee: $96 (+HST) (Early Bird Registration ends March 31st) Regular Registration Fee: $126 (+HST)
