Auditioning Workshop

with Michelle Langille

Join us for an Auditioning Masterclass with the wonderful Michelle Langille!

Auditions are a necessary but challenging part of theatre. In this 5 hour workshop Michelle Langille (director of Jersey Boys, and Tanya in the upcoming production of Mamma Mia) will explore different tips and techniques to help you find a natural and personal way to approach the audition process.

Working on prepared monologues and cold reads we’ll look at how to bring yourself into the room and how to stay open, present and how to take the time to show what you would bring to the rehearsal process and eventually to a performance.

Michelle will work with students aged 16 and older during this five-hour workshop.

Please dress comfortably and come prepared to have a rewarding learning experience in a supportive and fun environment.

The HAT Academy - 295 Charlotte Street

WHEN:

This workshop will run May 26th from 12:00-5:00pm.

AGE FOR ENROLLMENT:

Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

REGISTRATION FEE:

$60.00 (+HST)
