On December 2nd, join us for a very special one-night-only performance made of incredible Cape Breton talent in support of Camp Bretondean. Be part of an unforgettable evening filled of colourful artists that will perform original and traditional songs. The night will include performances by Robert Bouchard, Jason MacDonald, Buddy MacDonald and Carmen Townsend. All funds raised will go toward creating experiences and memories for those attending Camp Bretondean’s summer camp.

Camp Bretondean is an ecumenical residential summer camp supported by the Anglican churches of Cape Breton and administered by the Camp Bretondean Corporation. Their mission is to welcome children, youth, and adults with a safe, friendly and fun camping environment in where they will explore their faith and grow in discipleship.

Robert Bouchard has proven he is a great song writer as well as having a unique country voice people never get tired of listening too. He has enjoyed a large fan base over the years and after 45 years his fans are still there waiting in anticipation for his next album, gig or personal appearance.

Robert has a dynamic stage presence and a sincere personality that makes a crowd feel good and keeps them coming back again and again.

You'll enjoy his rich baritone voice as he sings his own unique style of country music straight from the heart. He has earned the title "Cape Breton's Country Gentleman" because of his constant mild manner and his humble personality.

Jason MacDonald is an entertainer who reels listeners in with his dynamic acoustic musicianship and keeps them beguiled with his storytelling through the authentic songs he writes based on real-life experiences. The home he makes with his wife and two young daughters in the close-knit community of Gabarus Lake, Cape Breton, both in and out of doors, is a source of songwriting inspiration that seemingly never goes dry. Jason draws on the stories of his family — including his grandparents — who had deep roots in the Gabarus Lake area, not to mention his own experiences fishing lobster, building houses, crafting furniture, growing Christmas trees, hosting a radio program, and, of course, writing songs and playing his music for fans from Mabou to Milwaukee.

Buddy MacDonald been chasing audiences around since thirty five years ... have performed all over Canada and the United States, Scotland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Switzerland and Holland as a solo act and as part of celtic folk band combinations.

Performed at pubs, folk festivals, house concerts, theatre tours, corporate conventions, tourism related shows for the province of Nova Scotia, song-writers circles and workshops. Have performed at Tourist Resorts around maritime Canada, and love to entertain as well as talk to the visitors and give them a little local feel and flavour of where they are. I've also done a lot of touring as a backup guitar player for various celtic fiddle players, such as Natalie Macmaster, Asley MacIssac, Wendy MacIssac, Glenn Graham, Rachel Davis and Howie Mac Donald.

Cape Breton’s Carmen Townsend is a 4 time Music Nova Scotia Award winning artist and has most recently picked up an ECMA for Rising Star Recording of the year. She was named Best Female Artist by local Coast Reader’s and was also invited to take part in National Hockey Day where she shared the stage with Dave Bidini, Sarah Harmer and Chris Murphy (Sloan). This rock goddess combines the remarkable vocal talent and gunning riffs to create an empowering live show.

" If Rock and Roll was walkin' down the street....it would be wearin' a Carmen Townsend T-Shirt" - Matt Andersen.
