Event Notes

× A week-long summer intensive introduction to singing, dancing, acting, storytelling, and the performing arts.

This intermediate-level camp is intended for young performers, ages 10 to 18, with some experience and a keen interest in live performance. Participants will be grouped by age and rotate between instructors receiving professional education in a variety of triple threat disciplines through theatre games and exercises. There's no public performance, so there's no pressure to focus on a final product. Participants will have fun while learning and meeting new friends from a variety of background - united through a love of theatre.

Prerequisite: It is encouraged that participants will have taken part in previous HAT training programs (ie HAT Resident Company) or comparable training programs, however it is not mandatory. Any previous experience will be an advantage, and this course is perfect for the young performer looking for opportunities to hone their skills.

July 29 to August 2, 2019 from 10:00 to 4:00

Registration Fees: $150

*Limited Scholarships available for interested participants from low-income backgrounds, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Sydney. For application information, please contact: info@highlandartstheatre.com
