Performance Notes

× A 2-week summer intensive with the intent to give young performers a professional theatre experience.

This advanced-level camp is intended for young performers, ages 10 to 18, who participated in last year's HATCH summer intensive. Participants will be grouped by age and rotate between instructors receiving professional education in a variety of triple threat disciplines with an emphasis on performing a full-scale "mini-musical". Each group will be cast and perform in an original, bite-sized musical comedy by local playwrights and composers, directed by HAT Artistic & Executive Director, Wesley J. Colford. After two weeks, a public performance will showcase their efforts with two performances on August 18th. Attendance for all rehearsal dates and performances is mandatory.

Prerequisite: This course is limited to young performers who participated in HATCH 2018 or by invitation (pending availability). Participation is limited to capacity.

August 5 to 9 and 12 to 16, 2019 from 10:00 to 4:00 Public Performances: August 18
