Play by Play is a new discussion group designed to give you a deeper and more enriched theatre experience with pre-show lectures/discussions on context and themes, a peek into the rehearsal process, and a post-show discussion for each of our four mainstage Fall Season productions.

Like a Book Club, for theatre!

This season-long course will include 12 hours of curated discussion (3 per production) plus invitations to private Dress Rehearsals for all for productions. Participants will get to voice their opinion, engage in rigorous debate, audit rehearsals, and have a chance to meet actors and directors from the season.

The full schedule is as follows:

Sept. 8th, 2:00-4:00 - Pre-Show Discussion on "Silence" themes and history, and hour-long audit of rehearsal including conversation with director, Ron Jenkins, and cast.

Sept. 16th, 7:00-9:00 - Invited Dress Rehearsal for "Silence".

Sept. 29th, 2:00-3:00 - Post-Show Discussion, "Silence".

Oct. 13th, 2:00-4:00 - Pre-Show Discussion on "Little Shop of Horrors" themes and history, and hour-long audit of rehearsal including conversation with director, Ron Jenkins, and cast.

Oct. 28th, 7:00-9:00 - Invited Dress Rehearsal for "Little Shop of Horrors".

Nov. 3rd, 2:00-3:00 - Post-Show Discussion, "Little Shop of Horrors".

Nov. 10th, 2:00-4:00 - Pre-Show Discussion on "The Best Brothers" themes and history, and hour-long audit of rehearsal including conversation with the director and cast.

Nov. 18th, 7:00-9:00 - Invited Dress Rehearsal for "The Best Brothers".

Nov. 24th, 2:00-3:00 - Post-Show Discussion, "The Best Brothers".

Dec. 1st, 2:00-4:00 - Pre-Show Discussion on "A Christmas Carol" themes and history, and hour-long audit of rehearsal including conversation with director, Wesley J. Colford, and cast.

Dec. 9th, 7:00-9:00 - Invited Dress Rehearsal for "A Christmas Carol".

Dec. 15th, 2:00-3:00 - Post-Show Discussion, "A Christmas Carol".
