ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

An All-Ages Christmas Treat by Canadian Comedy Award Winner Rebecca Northan Directed by Birdie Gregor

At the North Pole, all Junior Elves get their start in the Mailroom, with dreams of one day being promoted to the Toy Factory. When a mysterious package, addressed to Santa, arrives one week before Christmas, young Ginger cannot resist sneaking a peek at what's inside. When the beautifully wrapped gift bursts open on its own, hilarity and hijinks ensue - threatening to dash Ginger's hope's of ever getting her promotion.

Rebecca Northan is a Canadian Comedy Award winner, actor & director. Her hit show, Blind Date, has been touring across Canada & the US for over decade. Rebecca has guest-hosted This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and has been a semi-regular panelist on CBC Radio's "Because News".

A family-friendly production, recommended for ages 10 and up

~ An Experiment in Radical Access ~

In the light of this unprecedented time, we are trying something Radical: We have become the first Professional, Community-Funded Theatre in Canada. We are looking for 2000 people to make monthly donations of $25 or more to publicly fund our operations and projects and as a result, we will offer all 12 Mainstage plays and musicals every year free of charge.

We aren't going to charge you a cent for this ticket, but if you haven't already, we highly encourage you to go to our website and make a pledge for ongoing monthly dontions (you can also do a one-time donation if you prefer).

You'll receive:

1) A tax-deductible charitable receipt 2) Advance access to book for future Mainstage Productions 3) The knowledge that you are supporting a professional arts organization in downtown Sydney and helping create free access for everyone in the community.

For more information or to make your pledge, check out: http://www.highlandartstheatre.com/radical-access

Tickets: FREE OF CHARGE (if not a monthly donor, suggested donations of $25/ticket are welcome)

If you book your tickets and then do not need them, please let us know no less than 6 hours before showtime by e-mailing us at: info@highlandartstheatre.com

From December 1st to 13th:

Tuesday to Saturday at 8:00PM Sundays at 2:00PM and 8:00PM

COVID-19 Protocols:

We are very grateful that it has been more than three months since we have had a new confirmed case of COVID-19 in Cape Breton, however, it is essential that we do not become overly relaxed or complacent. We will be complying with all provincial and federal recommendations and guidelines. Please be advised that protocols could change at any time pending provincial order or increased risk.

All audiences will be limited to 12.5% of our overall capacity (approx. 50 people) Every seat will automatically be booked with a six-foot "bubble" around their seats to ensure mandatory physical distancing. Masks will be manditory upon entrance and throughout performance. Washrooms will be gender-neutral for the time being and limited to one-person per washroom at a time. (Disinfectant will be used between each use.) Audiences will be permited to enter and exit as necessary to "freshen up". All facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between performances.

We are committed to keeping our audience, staff, and artists safe and secure. If you have any feedback or concerns, please feel free to contact us at: info@highlandartstheatre.com

Thank you so much and see you soon at the HAT!
