Beginner Dance for Adults with Andrea Vokey
Tired of being told you have two left feet? Want to strut your stuff on the stage? Time to give ol' twinkle toes a try?
Brush off your dancing shoes with this course designed for people who are curious, with no experience necessary. Beginner adult dancers are encouraged to try this 8-week course and get their feet wet while having fun. Andrea Vokey leads you through a variety of steps and combinations with something for everyone, with an emphasis on basic technique, jazz, musical theatre, and a variety of other styles. It’ll be fun, low-pressure, and will hopefully get you out of your comfort zone. No experience necessary!
Participants must be 16 years of age or older.
Classes for Beginner Dance for Adults will run on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00PM starting February 1st, 2021 and running for 8 consecutive weeks.
Please note, this is a recreational, social, and physical dance class - not a partner or ballroom class. Moderate mobility is strongly encouraged.
If necessary, a storm day make-up class will be scheduled during regular class time the week of April 5th.
