Theatre Activism (ages 13-15) with Holly Schaller
This course will teach students how they can put their theatre knowledge to practical use to better their community. We will cover topics including verbatim theatre, invisible theatre, and eventually work on a performance piece based on Augusto Boal’s Forum Theatre.
Holly Schaller (Bachelor of Arts:Theatre Arts Certificate, Bachelor of Education), began teaching youth theatre classes in 2015 with Class Acts Drama School. She is an active member of Theatre Kompakt, and Class Acts Drama Society.
Classes for Theatre Activism will run on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30PM starting April 27th, 2021 and running for 8 consecutive weeks.
If necessary, a storm day make-up class will be scheduled during regular class time the week of June 21st.
Registration is accepted on a "first come, first served" pending payment of Registration Fee.
