From the mind that brought you SUCKER and PUNCH UP comes a genre-bending tale inspired by the legend herself; Baba Yaga...that hideous old witch that lives alone in the woods grinding the bones of the wicked.

A gruesome murder in a small town leads a local sheriff, a young detective and a university professor with a taste for younger men into a labyrinth of secret lives, ancient magic and multiple suspects.

Part thriller, part revenge play ... and lots of comedy.

Tickets will launch Sept 27th following the HAT Radical Access: Year 2 Telethon! Assuming we meet our fundraising goals, tickets for this show will be completely free thanks to Radical Access.

In the light of this unprecedented time, we are trying something Radical: We have become the first Professional, Community-Funded Theatre in Canada. Thanks to ongoing monthly donations from people across Cape Breton and - indeed - North America, we have committed to offering all 12 Mainstage plays and musicals free of charge for a year. If we can maintain or grow this model, we would love nothing more than to continue this model forever. But in order to do that, we need your help.

We aren't going to charge you a cent for this ticket, but if you haven't done so already, we highly encourage you to go to our website and make a pledge for ongoing monthly dontions (you can also do a one-time donation if you prefer).

We are very grateful to have had such low cases of COVID-19 in Cape Breton, however, it is essential that we do not become overly relaxed or complacent. We will be complying with all provincial and federal recommendations and guidelines (and then some!). Please be advised that protocols could change at any time pending provincial order or increased risk.

Starting October 4th, the NS government has outlined that all patrons must be able to show proof of double vaccination for COVID-19 in order to be admitted. Hand sanitizer will be required upon entry. Masks will be mandatory upon entrance and throughout performance, with the exception of when eating or drinking. All facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between performances.
