This worldwide event celebrates the return of live theatre and the incredible artists who make it happen. An exclusive musical revue featuring handselected songs you know and love from MTI’s impressive Broadway collection.

This show will mark the first Mainstage Production in 20 MONTHS to be opened to 100% capacity. We're so excited to put so many of our favourite performers back on stage and in front of a full house.

With this production, we’ll join more than 5400 performances in more than 40 countries all around the world performing this same show on this same weekend. We’re so grateful to be a part of a truly global event.

From the theatre world and all of us here at the HAT, we’re so happy to have you here all together now!

~ An Experiment in Radical Access ~

In the light of this unprecedented time, we are trying something Radical: We have become the first Professional, Community-Funded Theatre in Canada. Thanks to ongoing monthly donations from people across Cape Breton and - indeed - North America, we have committed to offering all 12 Mainstage plays and musicals free of charge for a year. If we can maintain or grow this model, we would love nothing more than to continue this model forever. But in order to do that, we need your help.

We aren't going to charge you a cent for this ticket, but if you haven't done so already, we highly encourage you to go to our website and make a pledge for ongoing monthly dontions (you can also do a one-time donation if you prefer).

You'll receive:

1) A tax-deductible charitable receipt 2) Advance access to book for future Mainstage Productions 3) The knowledge that you are supporting a professional arts organization in downtown Sydney and helping create free access for everyone in the community.

For more information or to make your pledge, check out: http://www.highlandartstheatre.com/ray2

Tickets: FREE OF CHARGE (although suggested donations of $25/ticket are welcome)

If you book your tickets and then do not need them, please let us know no less than 6 hours before showtime by e-mailing us at: info@highlandartstheatre.com

COVID-19 Protocols:

Please note: Protocols may be updated to reflect current NS protocols

We are very grateful to have had such low cases of COVID-19 in Cape Breton, however, it is essential that we do not become overly relaxed or complacent. We will be complying with all provincial and federal recommendations and guidelines (and then some!). Please be advised that protocols could change at any time pending provincial order or increased risk.

Starting October 4th, the NS government has outlined that all patrons must be able to show proof of double vaccination for COVID-19 in order to be admitted. Hand sanitizer will be required upon entry. Masks will be mandatory upon entrance and throughout performance, with the exception of when eating or drinking. All facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between performances.

We are committed to keeping our audience, staff, and artists safe and secure. If you have any feedback or concerns, please feel free to contact us at: info@highlandartstheatre.com

Thank you so much and see you soon at the HAT!
