Improv for JRs - May

Improv for JRs 1.5 hours Improv for JRs (ages 10-14) with Rachael Murphy

During this workshop we will review the basics of improv theatre, play some familiar AND new games, and spend time creating short scenes and skits that are completely improvised. Whether you’re a regular at the HAT Academy, or this is your first time with us, this is the workshop for you! You might like this workshop if you’ve taken: JR Resident Company, Let’s Play!, or a HATCH Summer Camp.

Rachael Murphy (BA, Theatre Arts Certificate) has been with the HAT Academy since our very first HATCH Summer Camp as a student Group Leader, and is now very happy to be the HAT Academy’s Education Coordinator! When she isn’t answering emails, planning new programs, or teaching classes, you can sometimes find her onstage at the HAT (Alice - Alice in Wonderland, Celia -As You Like It, Past - A Christmas Carol) or backstage Stage Managing (Frozen JR, Seussical the Musical, She Loves Me) OR directing one of our JR/Teen Productions (15, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek JR).

Improv for JRs will run on Wednesday, May 4h from 4:00-5:30pm.

Registration is accepted on a "first come, first served" pending registration.
