Improv for Teens 2.5 hours Improv for Teens (ages 13-18) with Alex Poirier

Do you want to try something new? Are you looking for something to do with a friend some evening? Or has it just been a little while and you want to brush off those improv cobwebs and have some fun? This very well may be the class for you! This workshop is for all experience levels. You might like this workshop if you’ve taken: Advanced Acting for Teens, High School Resident Company, or High School Production Company.

Alex Poirier studied at the Humber School of Creative and Performing Arts in Toronto, Ontario, and has performed in a variety of venues across Canada and Europe, including at Yuk Yuk's Stand-Up Comedy, Toronto's Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, and Dalhousie University's Rebecca Cohn Auditorium. He wrote, directed, and starred in his first stage play, Tough Call, in 2018 — the success of which prompted a special return engagement as part of the 2021 HAT Winter Season — and has featured in several of the HAT's mainstage productions, including West Moon, The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Shop of Horrors, and Daniel MacIvor's The Best Brothers.
