The Shakespearience

The Shakespearience (ages 14-18) with Rachael Murphy

The Shakespearience will explore Shakespeare in a low pressure environment as we look at different plays, sonnets, and his life. The 1600s have never been so interesting. There may even be an opportunity to perform at the end of the semester! This advanced class is for ages 14-18.

Rachael Murphy (BA, Theatre Arts Certificate) has been with the HAT Academy since our very first HATCH Summer Camp as a student Group Leader, and is now very happy to be the HAT Academy’s Education Director! When she isn’t answering emails, planning new programs, or teaching classes, you can sometimes find her onstage at the HAT (Alice - Alice in Wonderland, Celia -As You Like It, Past - A Christmas Carol) or backstage Stage Managing (Frozen JR, Seussical the Musical, She Loves Me) OR directing one of our JR/Teen Productions (15, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek JR, Mary Poppins JR).

For teens between the ages of 15 and 18.

This class runs Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm starting September 20th, 2023 and running for 10 consecutive weeks.

If necessary, a make-up class will be scheduled.

Registration is accepted on a "first come, first served".
