CAPE BRETON LOLFEST
The Inaugural Cape Breton LOLFest is the biggest comedy festival on the island.
Ben Bankas Is one of the most popular comedians in Canada right now with over 78k followers and growing on Instagram from making videos making fun of politics, current events and pop culture. Marketed as "Arguably Canada's most Controversial Comedian", Ben is on a National Tour across Canada and shows are selling out.
Ben is the host of his own podcast "The Bankas Show" on YouTube, and has been performing stand up for 13 years.
Clifton Cremo is local to Cape Breton & has been entertaining Canadian audiences with his deft brand of storytelling and wry absurdism. Clifton's perspective on his Mi'kmaw upbringing and his unique outlook on First Nations issues brought him national attention by showing that no matter the divisiveness of an issue, humour can be a common ground.
Kyle Hickey started stand up over a decade ago at an open mic in Halifax. Kyle had blossomed into a talented writer, actor and comedian, making appearances at the Boston Comedy Festival, CBC's Halifax Comedy Festival, Sirius XM's Top Comic and JFL42 in Toronto as well as acting roles seen on YTV, MTV & Amazon Prime.
