The Shakesperience will explore Shakespeare in a low pressure environment as we look at different plays, sonnets, and his life. The 1600s have never been so interesting. There may even be an opportunity to perform at the end of the semester! This advanced class is for ages 14-18.

Faculty Bio:

Rachael Murphy (BA, Theatre Arts Certificate) has been with the HAT Academy since our very first HATCH Summer Camp as a student Group Leader, and is now very happy to be the HAT Academy’s Education Director! When she isn’t answering emails, planning new programs, or teaching classes, you can sometimes find her onstage at the HAT (Alice - Alice in Wonderland, Celia -As You Like It, Past - A Christmas Carol) or backstage Stage Managing (Frozen JR, Seussical the Musical, She Loves Me) OR directing one of our JR/Teen Productions (15, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek JR, Mary Poppins JR).

WHEN:

Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00PM

Starting April 24th, 2024 and running for 8 consecutive weeks.

If a class should be cancelled for any reason, a make-up class will be scheduled and emailed out to participants.

AGE FOR ENROLLMENT:

For teens between the ages of 14 and 18.

REGISTRATION FEE:

$126.00 (+HST)

Registration is accepted on a "first come, first served" pending payment of Registration Fee.
